TamilNet: Honorary Eelamist of the Year Award Results

TamiNet is pleased to announce to its loyal readers that there was an unprecedented response to it’s poll regarding the Honourary Eelamist of the Year. The number of respondents corresponded exactly with the number of registered Eelamists scattered around the world. This is also a reflection of the growing popularity of Eelami cultural activities amongst its natives, based both in Eelam, Greater Eelam (aka Tamil Nadu), and"Greater Eelam – West" (aka Canada, England & Australia) and "Greater Eelam – East" (aka Malaysia).

TamilNet: Eelamist of the Year Award Winner Ranil Wickramasinhe

In honour of all his contributions to the state of Eelam, TamilNet and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Eelam is proud to bestow upon Ranil Wickremasinghe the award for the Honourary Eelamist of the Year. Plans had been made to give this honour to Mr. Wickremasinghe, and it has been greatly to the benefit of Eelam and TamilNet that the poll results also happened to favour the same decision.

Ranil Wickremasinghe has contributed greatly to bringing Eelam to where it is now, breaking away from his past notorious involvement with Ranjan Wijeratne and other racist homophobic Sinhalese. In fact, to make up for the damage to Eelam he caused in his youth, Ranil Wickremasinghe voluntarily decimated the entire Sinhalese and traitorous Tamil spy network during the famed Millenium House raid.

His constant associations with like-minded souls such as Mangala Samaraweera also does Eelam, and particularly Prabhakaran proud, as these kind of associations prove that he is bent towards the same passions as Prabhakaran.

Recently, he has embarked on a many a campaign to reduce the number of racist homophobic Sinhalese, from encouraging them to break all their pots and pans out in the street (this means that the racist sinhalese will no longer have utensils left to cook in, and soon, they will all starve to death.) to demanding the control of the Sinhalese Armed Forces.

Truly, this man’s logic and foresight is remarkable. While most of his current activities are of a more quieter nature, his help and support towards Eelam, particularly in engaging foreign aid, is still of great importance.

We are proud to welcome Ranil Wickremasinghe into our community.
