Barack Obama, a Harvard Graduate and lawyer by profession, has been a staunch supporter of civil rights and minority rights and is now positioned to possibly be the first Negro-American to hold the US Presidency. He comments on Sri Lanka’s bloody and vicious civil war.
He understands that the current Republican Bush Administration has got it all wrong when approaching the subject of the LTTE and terrorism in Sri Lanka.
“Good evening my brother Tamils, it is good to be able to talk about your country and how your freedom struggle much resembles the civil rights struggle we black folks and colored people went through here in America. 
Now granted I don’t really know a damn thing about Sri Lanka or even where on the map it is, except that the plane ride from here is really, really far…and I don’t have a clue as to who the LTTC or the ‘Tamil Tigons’ or whatever they are called are. But let me assure you that the Washington lobbyists hired by your LPPE (that have handed me millions of dollars of your hard earned money) tell me that you have a completely legitimate grievance and the right to have your own country carved away from that other country y’all live in!
Let me start by saying we black people have so much in common with you Tamilian folk - I mean look at you! You people are all blacker than an oil spill! Asian tar babies! How about that? And here I though Asians were slanty-eyed yellow people, or tan-colored turban-wearers, like those rude, obnoxious, smelly people who drive taxis in New York City! And even your children dress like gangsta rappers and wear bling-bling while dressing and speaking like P. Diddy, Tupac and Jay-Z… I can now see why you people are treated like the “negroes” of Toronto!
