A TamilNet Alert: Sri Lankan jets bomb innocent peace loving animals.
In another cowardly act of uncalled for violence, the racist Sinhala air force bombed the Wanni for the 5th time since the past few days. As usual the SLAF completely missed any LTTE installations, but instead struck terror on the innocent unsuspecting civilians of Mankulam. This is yet another obvious and spineless attempt by the SLAF to terrorize the peace loving people of Tamil Eelam.
The Sinhala air force claims that they hit a black tiger base, but the LTTE has confirmed that no such base was hit. Instead according to reliable totally accurate LTTE sources, Tamil Eelam’s first ever petting zoo, which commenced operations 2 months ago, fell victim to the Sinhala bombs.
According to Irasiah Illanthariyan, LTTE military spokesmen, the damage done by this latest air strike was incredibly devastating. All animals present at the zoo were obliterated into tiny particles. The caretaker, identified as retired Lt. Colonel Ram Sinathambi, was also killed alongside his beloved animals. In addition, dozens of civilians in the premise of the zoo were killed and injured. The LTTE says that the death toll is at present 24 people and it is feared that the number will rise in the next few hours as many of the injured are in critical condition. All of the casualties are children. Illanthariyan has confirmed that the SLAF had dropped nearly 50 bombs on the zoo in order inflict maximum casualties on Eelamic citizens as they were extracting pleasure by petting and fondling goats and pure-bred Eelam ponies.
The LTTE peace secretariat has just sent an e-mail to the UN expressing its extreme displeasure by this latest act of brutality by the morally-bankrupt psychopathic Sinhala government. The GOSL has always been intent on making life miserable for Eelamese citizens. By taking away Eelam’s only petting zoo, the GOSL has made sure that Eelamese of all ages would no longer be able to enjoy themselves by molesting barn yard animals for the sake of pleasuring themselves and having fun after a hard day’s work of digging trenches and fending off Sinhala soldiers advancing into the Wanni. This of course is a violation of their fundamental human rights. No person should be deprived of the joys that come with touching and petting barn yard animals.
The LTTE’s husbandry and conservationist wing, also known as the Green Tigers, are in mourning today for the 35 animals that perished during the air strike. Using traditional Eelamic husbandry techniques and advanced breeding programs, the Green Tigers had painstakingly bred and nurtured the 35 animals for 5 years before they were handed over to the now obliterated Tamil Eelam petting zoo.
Of the various animals that were bred especially for the zoo, the Eelam pony was the most extraordinary of them all. This animal, native to Eelam, is now facing extinction due to excessive poaching by Sinhala invaders. Their distinct and valuable manes are sold on the black market by these Sinhala poachers for millions of dollars. Thalaivar has decreed the killing of these creatures as a sin punishable by death. Regardless, the latest deaths of these animals are a further blow to Eelamese conservationists who have sacrificed tooth and limb to preserve these majestic creatures for new generations of Eelamic youth to pet and molest.
The caretaker of the zoo, ret. Lt. Colonel Ram Sinathambi, has been posthumously promoted to brigadier for his many years of service to the LTTE, the Tamil people and the Eelamic animals whom he cared for and loved so dearly. His funeral will be held as soon as the LTTE can find what is left of his body as the explosions from the air strike had flung most of his remains into the four corners of Eelam.
